Job Description
|
This position has many variations. Primary responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
1. Be the primary POC for state outreach
opportunities.
2. Work closely with the Relay Program Management team to ensure
contract deliverables and compliance.
3. Plan and prioritize consumer sales activities and customer/prospect
contact towards achieving objectives, including costs and sales -
especially managing personal time and productivity.
4. Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business
according to an agreed market development strategy.
5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate
propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison,
to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and
satisfaction.
6. Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and
update relevant information held in these systems.
7. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets
and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other
organized marketing activities, eg., product launches, promotions,
advertising, exhibitions and marketing.
8. Respond to and follow up on inquiries using appropriate methods.
9. Follow outreach requirements as stipulated by contractual
requirements with the state of Texas.
10. Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal
meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and
aid business development.
11. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and
skills.
12. Promote Sprint Relay’s product portfolio
13. Perform other duties as assigned and required.
MINIMUM ABILITY, SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE
REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business protocols,
technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of Managers, consumers, and the general public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in Situations where only limited standardization
exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,
oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to
detail
• Fluency in American Sign Language required
EDUCATION/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or one
to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
